Description Producing dry ice when and where it is required is not only practical but economical as well. Dry ice storage losses from sublimation, handling and the space required to warehouse the ice are minimized, while productivity is maximized. Cryotronix manufactures and distributes two unique block or disc presses: Model DIB operates by first forming a block of ice within the injection cavity, then extruding and automatically slicing it to the required length. Model DID operates by pressing either a cylindrical or square block of ice at the desired thickness . The thickness can be adjusted from 3/4" to 1.5" by using different forms. Both of these methods not only give the user the flexibility of varying the disc size but also produces discs of superior density and consistentcy. This equipment is built to reliably provide the user with quality dry ice and can be adapted to automatically package the ice as required.
